"Pressed" is a creative system that explores the relationship between humans and machines through AI painting. It is an intelligent system capable of continuously producing paintings. The system comprises a range of painting styles spanning from ancient to contemporary, from the Western to the Eastern, encompassing various techniques such as rich abstract expressionism, geometric pop art, and traditional Chinese ink painting. During the creation process, when the artist inputs an initial photograph, a series of related data is activated by the algorithm, combining different painting styles. Both the composition and the frame of the artwork continually evolve, ensuring that no two final pieces are identical.
In the creative process, the human creator does not have complete control; instead, they collaborate with the machine. Simultaneously, the machine cannot generate artwork on its own. The collaboration between the creator and the system exists within the cautious constraints and freedom of cybernetics. The creator can guide the machine to produce unique artistic works, while the machine's feedback and changes introduce uncertainty and creativity to the entire creative process. Neither humans nor artificial intelligence can entirely dominate artistic creation, forming a relationship of interaction and equilibrium.

"Radiant Mirage" is based on a photograph taken by the artist in the old palace of Marrakech, capturing the colorful light reflected through windows with distinctive Arabic characteristics. Building upon this, the artist further created using the "Pressed" system. The result was output through techniques such as aluminum spray painting and 3D printing. The overall artwork is presented through the texture of velvet and the reflection of diamonds, combining the artistic elements of Arab culture with modern technology. This not only continues tradition but also explores the contemporaneity of art. This cross-cultural fusion is not just a collaboration between the creator and the "Pressed" system but also a dialogue and collision between different cultures and different eras.
